I totally believe that decreasing or eliminating sugar out of the diet can have an affect on your skin. It has helped me a lot. Sugar creates a very acidic environment in the body. An acidic environment is not good for our health. It also helps to feed parasites, namely yeast in the body. Try substituting Xylitol for sugar in recipes. It is a 5 carbon sugar instead of a 6 carbon sugar and the body does not even need insulin to use it.
I recently rented the documentary, "Supersize Me". Anyone who believes that health problems are only genetic and not diet related should see this. This guy nearly went into liver failure from eating fast food and drinking soda all the time. I never eat fast food anyway, but the documentary was pretty interesting and pretty dramatic how this affected him.
