Changing my shaving habits has really helped my jawline acne out.

I now use the Mach Power razor with an 98% aloe vera gel as my shaving gel. I used to use Gillette and all the stuff but wasn't to sure if the ingredients in the product was contributing to my acne.

So I go in the shower to warm my face up and cleanse it with Cetaphill. I then jump out of the shower and use a load of the aloe vera gel and smear it over where I am going to shave. I usually wait a couple of minutes to let it to start moisturizing the area and allow my mirror to defog. I then throw some warm water on my face again and then another load of aloe vera gel.

I start shaving the least sensitive parts first and then the sensitve and most moisturized parts last. I only do about 1-2 strokes in each section before applying more gel and then repeating over the areas again in the same pattern.

I try to keep the entire strokes over the same layer of skin to about 3 strokes. If there are little hairs that I have missed that arn't to noticable then I just leave em cause I don't want to aggrevate anymore.

I then rinse off the remaining gel and apply a refining mask to somewhat seal up the new fresh pores. I use Dermalogica's Skin Refining Mask and leave it on for about 10mins.

Wash off with water, let face dry for 5-10mins then throw on some moisturizer.

Also when ever I apply cleansers, moisturizers, gel etc. to my face I always rinse my hands clean first with Cetaphill so im not rubbing my face with oily fingers.
