You might want to try to figure out if anything you are doing is causing your dry skin. Drinking a lot of water may help. Also, what do you use when you wash your face? I would recommend only washing once a day, with lukewarm water, and either use Dove soap or body wash or water only. Also, if you use makeup, that could be causing your skin to be dry.

You could try using jojoba oil to moisturize your skin. You can get it on the internet or at natural/health food stores. It shouldn't cause you to break out, but it might not be strong enough if your skin is super dry. You could also try emu oil, which is supposed to be a stronger moisturizer than jojoba oil. Or you can try plain extra virgin olive oil. Just massage it in, leave it on for a few minutes, and then rinse it off.

Tea tree oil might help your acne. It can be kind of drying, but you can dilute it as much as you want, so you might be able to get it to the point where it isn't too strong. Or you could try lavender oil, which is anti-bacterial but isn't as drying as tea tree oil.

If you try a new moisturizer, you need to try it for a few weeks to see its real effect. It may seem to break you out initially while your skin is adjusting, but if you use it for a while, you will have a better idea of whether it will cause breakouts long term.
