Hi guys,

I have often posted on this board stating the risks of lifting weights from an acne point of view, as it can significantly increase testosterone levels and provoke acne. I have fuond from personal experience that it invariably produces breakouts, particularly chestne and neckne.

I tried going back to the gym a couple of months ago to see if this still holds true for me. Within 2 weeks my neck EXPLODED with acne all over, and I was so embarrassed I went around wearing turtle neck shirts 24/7.

Before giving up though I tried using a simple clearasel wash on my neck and IT'S WORKING! I generally don't like OTC treatments, as they are harsh and can often make a mess of your skin. However, applying these harsh treatments to the [B]neck [/B] is ok in my view, as the neck is tougher than skin on your face

In fact, my skin has become even clearer now that I've been working out!
