Re: Red marks
Nov 23, 2005
A quick, temporary remedy would be to use some light coverup if it bothers you that much. I personally am not bothered by red marks. Most people have them and active acne is much worse.

This is what you can do in the long term:
1) Avoid the sun and apply sunscreen
2) Consider products with AHAs like glycolic acid and BHAs which will effectively exfoliate the skin and help to reduce red marks.
3) Visit your Derm or an aesthetician. Consider getting a chemical peel. This will provide a quicker solution to the problem. It causes the skin to peel and effectively lightens the skin and reduces hyperpigmentation.

Aside from that (maybe there are other products out there that claim to lighten red marks), time is the best solution for reducing red marks.

Good Luck!
