Re: Cyster in law

Wash face with same product
smother face in topical anitbiotic
treat any cysts with oxy10
take a Diane 35 (dianete birth control pill)

My opinion would be to cut out the oxy 10 and any harsh face wash products... no good! :nono: Also, drowning your face in antibiotic won't make it work any better, in fact, using more than the recommended could possibly leave uneeded residue and cause more blockage.

Once I stopped mixing different products and stuck to a natural, non-chemical routine, my face started looking better. I had pretty bad cystic acne before I started using Epiderm products - specifically, the tea tree oil cleanser bar, epidermx microdermabrasion cream, and the epiderm derma butter moisturizer. These three products helped my skin tremendously and they are all natural, packed with lots of antioxidants, fruit extracts, and "healthy" oils that help your skin. My skin cleared up 95%, but I still wasn't happy so I went on another course of Accutane. Now my skin is 110% :) If you are interested in Epiderm products, they are available at greatnewskin or goldportbeauty online. "Patriot," who is also on this board, is who got me started on Epiderm, and she is really knowledgable on the products.

Case in point, the less harsh you can get your routine, the better. Anything with BP in it is bad for your skin in the long run - do a search about it, you'll find tons of articles about the harmful affects of that chemical on the skin! Totally not worth it, in my opinion.

I hope this helps - if you have any questions, don't hesitate! :D
