I'm not sure about the cereal, but as i get older i am more and more convinced that milk plays a major role in my acne. After reading your post i did a quick search on google about milk and acne and i am going to try going without dairy for a whole month to see what happens.
milk seems like it can be an issue for acne if you have digestive problems like IBS. there seems to be a correlation between ppl with digestive problems and acne. in my case, i have IBS and have acne. I think my digestive problems started after using minocycline for a long time to treat the acne.

I'm also convinced milk and dairy in general is a big part of the problem. Growing up, I always had a bowl of cereal for breakfast plus milk at lunch. Like a lot of people, I bought into that myth that you needed plenty of calcium and protein from milk. Well it didn't work cause I maxed out at 5'8" when I was 14. On top of that, I always had acne. Never severe, but bad enough.

About a week ago, I decided to completely eliminate dairy from a diet to see if it would make a difference. I eat plain oatmeal with blueberries, plus egg whites for breakfast and only drink water or green tea during the day. I haven't seen a difference in my skin, but the problem is I can't seem to break my chocolate addiction. But I think getting rid of dairy will do wonders. The amount of hormones and antibiotics they pump into cows these days is downright scary. I don't know why anyone would think it's still healthy to eat this stuff.
I eat oatmeal regualr with a cut up bannana and some raisens in it. It takes great, gives me a good amount of vitamins as well as energy. If I eat to much dairy such as ice cream or a glass of straight milk I will breakout in a cyst. I know they say diet doesnt affect acne, but I truly believe the only product I am allegeic to is ice cream or to much straight milk. EVERY SINGLE TIME I willl break out in a cyst and that is the only time I ever get them when i consume these products staright.
