I agree with Woodentop about the glycolic acid. I'm 28 and never "grew out" of acne. The things that have helped me keep it under control are:

1. Diet - eat as much natural food as possible and avoid sugar and processed foods.
2. Glycolic acid based skin-care regimen - this keeps my pores clear and my skin soft and has helped in clearing up a lot of old acne scars too. I am sooo happy I discoverd glycolic acid!

FYI - all the drugs in the world never helped and lasted like this combination does. Accutane, antibiotics, topicals like Retin A and differin... none worked long term for me.

Unfortunatly because of the way the Western world eats, many of us will never grow out of juvenile acne because what we eat on a daily basis really contributes to how bad our skin breaks out. :( I wish that we're the truth, and that I really would have "grown out of it" like my parents and every dermatologist told me. Of course, I really wish my couse of accutane 10 years ago would have "cured me for life" like the derm told me too... but who am I kidding.
