There's a brand called "Cover FX". It was developed in a hospital unit for patients with scars, skin pigmentation issues, etc.. It worked so well that they made it available to the public -- i.e. for people who wanted real coverage for everyday. It's a uni-sex line designed specifically to cover without looking ridiculous (like a mask). Here in Canada, it's sold at Shoppers Drug Mart. Not sure where it's available in the States, etc. Maybe on-line?

In any case, it's what my derm recommended for me when I went on Accutane (I was worried about covering up the initial break-out).

So, it might be something to look into if you're really concerned.

If you don't want to go the make-up route and you're going to start the accutane in the summer, you might want to try a self-tanner. It'll moisturise the dry skin and I always found that a bit of a tan made the acne less noticeable. Just make sure you get one that's non-comedogenic!

GOOD LUCK with the accutane! I think you'll be really glad you did it when you're all clear! :)
