After I do any kind of sweating activity like dancing in clubs, working out, playing tennis or bball I am guaranteed to breakout the next day. I will get lots forehead whiteheads and pustules and in my temples and around my nose mouth for the next week or so. IT REALLY SUCKS!!!! I've tried using a sulfur mask and Benzoyl Peroxide after I work out but it doesn't seem to work (it may make it worse,maybe its too harsh????)

The only advice I've heard is that people say to make sure to shower as soon as you can and wash your face with a cleanser. This has NOT worked for me.

Sweating contributes to acne by providing a breeding ground for bacteria to grow. I think its compounded by dry, clogged pores. Right now I'm trying to open my pores by using a salicylic acid and then getting rid of my dry skin and using a moisturizer every once in a while. Hopefully this will work, because I NEED to workout to get stronger but I don't feel motivated if its going to break me out since it just makes me feel too depressed the next week or so. I do think sweating IS important to clear the pores and working out may just be purging my pores.

ANYONE WITH ANY GOOD ADVICE!!!
