Yuck, I woke up today and look so gross...I regret picking...I will try not to do it again (its so hard not to though). I hope I'm semi-clear up by Monday (back to school, back to work). Do you find that wearing makeup makes progress slower. I mean I'm not going to stop wearing it (if I could stay home for a couple of months while the spiro kicks in, maybe), but just asking. I was debating about a mini-peel or microdermabrasion. The skin clinic associated w/ my derm said that they would help with scarring...so as soon as there are no active zits (and I hope that is really, really soon), I'm going to look into it. I think Microdermabrasion would be gentler than a chemical peel. I have those red/purple marks too, luckily in my experience with clearing before (while on accutane) they go away pretty quickly.

Oh, I got that book, and I did read the info about Spiro....I just need to see my skin clearing up to know that its going to work for me...ya know????

Are you using any sort of topical? I've been using Retin-A cream for a few years and I really think it helped fade my red marks (and fine lines as a bonus!).
