1. Yes, Retin-A micro increases the regeneration of skin. Meaning, it will make your skin replace itself faster than normal, this is when you'll probably experience peeling. Peeling also will help with red marks a lot. I've read in places that Retin-A Micro is the best topical for red marks.

2. Wrong, All topicals treat the whole face. That's why you'll experience an intial break out because the topical is working the impurities UNDER THE SKIN and bringing them to the surface :) Eventually Retin-A micro will prevent new break outs from forming and healing existing ones.

3. Ok, DON'T POP ZITS ON YOUR OWN. This can lead to serious ice pick scaring that is VERY UGLY. You CAN go to your dermatologist and she can use this small needle thing to pop the zit, painlessly, and scar free. My derm did this for me and it heals the zit faster.

Hope this was some help. I'm sure it'll work for you great. My first treatment cleared me 100% cuz it was new to my skin, kinda like you. But i stopped using it and it came back haha...if you experience dryness/redness/peeling don't give up...thatll go away im told
