I need a liquid foundation for my skin which is pale pale, and i need really good coverage...i dont want the light stuff i need coverage! Thanks
Another vote for Revlon colorstay. The best thing about it is that it doesn't cause break outs (in me at least). I had tried prescriptives and cliniques and they really broke me up - and made me broke too considering their prices.
I should have thought of Revlon ColorStay! I use the ColorStay concealer and it's great. I'm in Canada too, I don't think Revlon is any more or less expensive than your average drugstore liquid makeup. Probably around $9 would be my guess. Covergirl makeup is always too light for my skin and it doesn't blend very well.
yes...I dont like CG is very light on my skin also..always makes me look like a ghost! REVLON COLORSTAY is definitely worth a shot for u!
Here in Hawaii Color Stay is about $9.

I buy it in the states for about $8.00.

Sometimes it is on sale for 6 or 7..
Mary Kay oil free liquid foundation is the only thing I will use...I have used it for over ten years. I have tried to switch to drugstore brands, but there is no comparison. It is a pain in the butt going through a consultant, but well worth it...just order 2 or 3 at a time so you only have to order about twice a year.....GOOD STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Everyone! For a couple of years, I had used Neutrogena Healthy Skin makeup and it had helped my skin clear up alot. My roomates also reported positive results.

However, resently I started to use natural minerals foundation/powder by Youngblood cosmetics and my skin looks MUCH much better now! Other brands are Canary, Jane Iredale, Bare Escentuals, etc.

It's very hard for us PALE-FACE gals to find a good foundation, then a color tone that works. I always play it safe and pick a lighter shade, but ALWAYS end up looking like a ghost too. And we all know that the darker shades on most of "us" look terrible to say the least.

I faithfully use all and only Neutrogena products. So, of course I bought the foundation and powder knowing that it can only help my poor face. But, no changes in skin and hardly covered anything. If you don't need to "cover up" much, then I recommend the can't hurt!

So....I think I'm going to also take the GREAT advice here and try the Revlon Colorstay!

We don't wanna look 14(no coverage) or like a clown(pancake look), so hopefully this is my answer too!

***sorry to go on and on and on! It's just nice to know there are really a lot of great people like me out there too!

Hawaii is a state too! ;-) Just teasting you. I kept saying the same thing when I moved here. I'm a Navy wife too.
I think that the best makeup for covering acne and controling oil is ESTEE LAUDER DOUBLE MATTE! That stuff is great! It gives light to medium coverage and is trasnfer resistant (another BIG plus!) but if you are black or have dark skin, forget it b/c they discontinued the darker shades so white people might benefit from this adivce
Hi Navywife! You need to move to Oahu. We actually do have interstates here. I couldn't believe it when I heard that, but H1, H2 and H3 are considered to be interstates. Say what? What state can we go to on them? LOL! We have pretty decent shopping here too, although I do alot of ordering from the Internet these days. My latest quest has been to find mineral makeup here. Liberty House used to have it, but all their stores are Macy's now. I located a place on Maui that has it, but I'm not going all the way to Maui just for makeup. Anyway, nice to meet you. :-)
