hi i have oily skin too and i can't really say whether there's any truth in the "egg white is better for oily skin, yolk is better for dry skin" thing. i haven't used the white. i've been using the yolk for about, mmmm, 3 weeks, maybe a few days more and my skin doesn't seem to be any oilier...

i think i'm going to be one of those people who has to use the mask every day for closer to 6-8 weeks to get rid of the acne (i'm hoping). -i'm still getting pimples, but fortunately they're smaller than they ever were before the miraculous egg. from what people have been saying on the board it's probably still bringing out all the impurities from my skin- benzoyl peroxide doesn't seem to do a thing for these pimples. sooo...

i had soooooo many red marks from past pimples, especially on my cheeks, before i started using the yolk (i was just using a dr.-prescribed benzoyl peroxide before). a lot of the red marks are gone, but of course, since there were so many, and some of them were so so so red that they're not all gone- but much less red than before the yolk. i'd say i probably started really noticing a difference in the redness after just a week or two.

oh yeah, and for the first 2 1/2 weeks i was just using the yolk for about 10-15 minutes once a day before i went to bed. but recently i started using it for about 10 minutes in the morning and about 20 minutes at night.
