The best thing I can recommend is 'Hydrocortisone Cream' you can buy it anywhere and it basically reduces inflammation. It states that you shouldn't use it on face or acne but I did and I had no reaction at all and it noticeably reduced the swelling. My advice to you is not to touch or press it or you'll make it worse. In the mean time just have a hot compress against it- hold a hot flannel against it. Basically the infection needs to come to the surface.

an alternative (maybe not a practical one though...) to hydrocortisone cream is to go to your derm and get a cortisone injection. its injected directly into the zit and helps it go away, usually within 24 hours.
