... I get the same problem on my back from weight lifting. You say its oil glands, would one be able to take a nature approach such as a simple cream ment for reducing oily skin in the affected area?... I may try that out, mine isn't severe so I've always just lived with it while I worked out. t-dash (11 replies)

... I'm not sure if working out is as bad as you think for your skin. I lift weights 3 to 4 days a week and have managed to rid my body of acne through diet. Plus, I get plenty of carbs form whole grain without issue and they do not affect my skin. Thats my experience, maybe it doesn't work for everyone. ... (11 replies)

... My skin is no worse while working out, if anything it is better! Remember, sweat occurs from sweat glands, and acne starts in HAIR follicles. Not the same thing. The extra blood flow to the skin from exercising should be good overall. ... (8 replies)

... they get them from workouts because the physical stress placed on the body, and the mass amount of horomones released after a workout, in fact when ever I lift heavy, i barely sweat alot (unless its really hot in the gym), usually cardio/running will make me sweat ALOT more (6 replies)

... it sounds like maybe you should simplify. If you have sensitive skin the multiple products are probably causing irritation. Often in our desire to clear up acne we overuse too many products and don't have patience even though it is very tough. Also changing your diet certainly can't hurt. ... (8 replies)
