... One that really helped me was tri-phasil or tri-levlen (same thing) I've just started back up 3 weeks ago. I've seen some improvement but I know I won't see anything major. It actually got worse (but really not that bad) the first 2 weeks. You have to prepare for that because any time your hormones change it causes acne. ... I heard that the benzoyl peroxide in benzamycin is supposed to prevent bacterial resistance against erthromycin. Also, if you're a girl then bcp might be a good option. Sweet Girl's right, breakouts on the chin and jawline are usually hormonally related. Good Luck! ... (6 replies)
... Chances are if you are female that your hormones are just changing. Maybe a bcp could help you since your breakouts are near the chin area and supposedly that is the area affected most by hormones. Hope this helped some. ... (6 replies)
