... hey pherpher1, I've never used anything above 2.5%, because until you get above like 10-15%, there's not really much of a difference in acne fighting, just a difference in the pain and side affects. I used to use neutrogina on-the-spot 2.5% BP, which worked really well. I think it was in an alcohol base, but you might wanna check on that. At any rate, I'd recommend the 2.5%... (4 replies)

... BP completely cleared my skin for the first two weeks when I started to use it and I was so unbelieveably happy. ... A year ago, I didn't know what I know now, but I wish that I had. Certainly six, let alone 3 months ago, I didn't know, nor cared how topicals or certain medications worked. I was just glad that they did. Yet, the more I learned, the more connections I found, and the more questions I needed to have answered. As a result, I realized that not only is it important to know the... (97 replies)
... I've been suffering mild-moderate acne for about four years now. I've tried all sorts of OTC topical products from the drugstore, but because my skin is so sensitive most things would only make me red and blotchy and itchy, or they would make me break out. However, it has taken all this time for me to realize that the kind of acne I struggle with is different from the... (4 replies)

... Hey everyone - I just wanted to add that just about any of the Neutrogena products work well for me - especially Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash when taking a shower, as well as the Multi Vitamin Acne Treatment. One more thing - someone in another thread had suggested Baking Soda with water (makes into a paste) works GREAT - makes skin smoother and cleaner - leave it... (5 replies)
... I have a pretty big decision to make with regards to my acne. My dermatologist recommended accutane, but of course the side effects are pretty scary. If I had the type of acne you see in ads for Accutane, then I wouldn't have as much hesitation. I do have the occasional cystic acne which sucks, but I feel like the majority of the acne on my face are whiteheads. Do you... (1 replies)
... I really think that I am allergic to benzoyl peroxide because the area above my cheekbones became really red and actually BURNED for hours after applying this stuff. ... (7 replies)
