Accutane?

I don't know what happened but initially he took minocycline and topical tazarac and after just about two months his skin was beautiful. He then went on maintenance of triax pads and the tazarac. ... ... hey realsad, the month before, i used minocycline (which didn't really do much) and cleocinT lotion (also, didn't do much!). so there you go. bottom line, imo, if your acne is bad enough to go on accutane, there's not much else out there that's gonna do much for ya. i still use the cleocin though, for some reason. i guess it's like a security blanket or something. good... ... e doc had to try 3 different antibiotics before he would put me on accutane. It kept me virtually clear for 2 yrs and then came back on the back of my neck. The minocycline keeps it under control now. I have to pay cash to see him since he isn't on my insurance this year.. but since he gives me what i want I will pay. ... (6 replies)

... My daughter just passed the 100 day mark. Her skin still looks kind of rough to me although it's much better. She's recovered a lot from the initial breakout. Did you see any improvement up till the 100 day mark? Sorry I'm too lazy to go back and read alll the posts. I was just wondering if your improvement suddenly got dramatic. She gets done in January. ... Dipofi - thank you. He took his last 10 mg. Accutance on 1-24, and his skin seems to be settling down now. He's on Cephalexin until the Accutane is out of his system, and then he'll probably go back on Minocycline - which really helped previously. To Accutane Or Not
