... I would also use Queen Helene mint julip mask when I could, or another weekly acne fighting treatment that was good for exfoliating. I also keep a stash of minocycline in case of flare ups, but don't take it on a regular basis...just occasionally when needed. ... (4 replies)

... While it's best to take it on an empty stomach, if your daughter is having these symptoms, I'd take the pills WITH food. Even eating just a few crackers immediately before taking the pill could help immensely. Splitting the pills up could also work (just make sure she's still getting the daily dose that the doc prescribed). When I took antibiotics, certain ones made me... (4 replies)

Ofcourse any medication... (18 replies)

... I have been dealing with cystic acne for years now and was just wondering what information people knew about it. Information such as causes, prevention and treatment. The reason Iím reaching out to a public forum is because I had only now been told that all the information dermatologists had on acne and cystic acne was pretty much theoretical. It took my third dermatologist to... (2 replies)
... ahhhh now you're just making me jealous! :) I want SPIRO! lol As for the face-washing thing, yea I hear you on that point. I used to be a total freak obsessing over washing every inch of my face, -which didn't help the oil- but now I wash it normally, help either. yikes (4 replies)
... sounds like you're doing everything right! I asked about facewashing, because i've heard that overwashing can cause oil. If you do get will DEFINITELY help with oil.
