... have you seen a dermatologist??? i have been using differin gel for about 3yrs now under the supervision of a dermatologist it has worked for me - helped stop annoying blackheads from forming and got rid of existing ones, broke me out initially though i never got red and irritated skin that i couldn't deal with, its just some dryness that goes away with a good moisturizer... ... How long have you been on it? It takes up to 4 months to see a complete change. Why don't you try using a gentle cleanser and in the mornings after cleansing try using witch hazel as a toner. It will help with the oilyness. PS don't forget that if your skin feels too dry or tight it will over-produce oil. You need to use an oil-free moisturizer, especially while on differin. (2 replies)
