... Hey,David, thanks! I've been on the Retin-a Micro for over a year(the strongest dose!) AND I use it every night with no problems. I have heard that the Tazorac is stronger than Retin-a... is this true? (3 replies)
... eing stroger, I would be inclined to say that Taz could very well be, cause my derm said that he has had better results with people on Taz as opposed to being on Retin A but I think that they are both relatively similar. I started out on Tazorac, but the "break out period" never ended and the doctor switched me to Retin-A Micro with Aveeno Foaming Face Wash (with salacylic acid) and Rosula (a topical ointment with sulphur for any thing that popped up during treatment). ... Thanks for the reply, Suzy. I am much clearer now except for around my chin/jaw - got one bad place healing up. Seems like just as soon as one is about healed, another one pops up. However, I used to have alot of places on my forehead and around my hairline and that has cleared up nicely. Went off the differin for a week and am now back on it, but just going to try every other... (6 replies)
... Thanks for your replies Kymberlee and CreditQueen. I started applying the differin to my upper lip because I have a dark spot there, but as of last night have stopped applying any there. I have recently purchased a new foundation with spf in it. I also bought a new facial moisturizer that has spf in it too. I haven't tanned in almost 3 months. It's gonna be rough this spring...
