Oh, actually that was my nephew, and yes, he is completely off (hooray!) :bouncing:
That's great to hear!!! My son is also completely off too and what a difference it makes!!!! This was a big eye opener to the way kids are just thrown on meds. Seems like the whole world is on medication!!! Medication is the answer to everything!

He had Cub Scouts last night, he was happy, he participated, he loves life again!! My dh and I sat there last night and could not believe how mature he is. There are 12 boys in his den and my son and maybe 1 or 2 others where the only ones who paid attention, did what they were told, not at all a kid who needs medication!! I saw some kids last night that could seriously use some medication, they couldn't listen to the leader for more than 2 seconds, makes me wonder how they do in school. I got my sons progress report and he has all B's except for English & Spelling he has D's which he has been put in a special class for, so those grades will be coming up. I'm starting to see that if your child is not an A student who can work completely independently, they are lost in the shuffle with too many kids for 1 teacher!

You live and learn everyday and I've definitely learned a hard lesson on medicating kids!!!!

I'm glad he is doing well in school too, my nephew is also doing well too.

The whole world is on medication, but that will change. Lately the drug co's have been convicted of misrepresentation(Neurontin) and also hiding negative clinical trials(Paxil), and some health risks such as diabetes(Zyprexa), so the confidence in psychiatric drugs is diminishing.
