I'm pretty sure you go to a phsyciatrist (spelling) They can test for adhd or add. However I think they will not prescribe anything to her. Children should not be treated until they are at least seven or older. Alot of children her age are hyper and do NOT sit still. Children to have alot of energy and they do not stay focused long. Too many doctors dub children with have ADHD and put too many kids who really don't need it on medication. If you do go see a doctor I would get a second opinion to be on the safe side. IF you can help to not put your daughter on medication then do so. She may just need special attention to learn, she may be preoccupied with other things, or gets bored easily. That's all normal for a five year old. Research more on this subject and about the drug ritalin. Good luck to your daughter.
