sushix, I think you're on a better track with considering taking non-prescription supplements if your SAT's are only weeks away.
I'm probably 3 times your age and just got 'fed up' with being this way too (well, my boss did, anyway), and have been trying to get the medication thing right for several months now--still with no success. In fact, it often makes it worse.

You might go to few health food-type stores and see what each recommends. But keep in mind, they're trying to sell you products that may not have fallen under the scrutiny of the FDA. But then it's been in the news lately that the FDA's scrutiny of prescription meds isn't too keen either.

Having seen 2 daughters through the SATs, and having been academic advisor to 7 High School students as part of my last job, the tips below might also be useful, especially as I've put them in the context of having ADD.

Be sure to get a good night's sleep and a good breakfast going into the SAT's.
I know you've heard it before, but it's true. If you do some exercise the afternoon before, you should sleep easily that night.
And I've heard from study-skills teachers that water is a better drink than coffee for alertness and focus. I think even more so if you have ADD.

There are practice tests available online and in bookstores (both online stores and in buildings). Ask your school SAT person which one's would be useful for you.
They give you the opportunity to see what kind of answers are considered correct.
If your brain works anything like mine, you will imagine all kinds of possible answers--and I'm sure they're all good, and some are probably more creative and insightful than the so-called correct answers.
You don't have to do all of the practice tests, just enough (at least one from each type) to give you an idea of what they are looking for.
Just as good if not better, I'm told, is to go over the answers you missed on the PSAT.

Hope you do at least as well as your best. Oh, wait a minute. You can only do your best. ;)
