For me ritalin had more side effects but basically gave me the same focus as adderall. In my opinion I would stick with adderall because any stimulant would make it hard to quit smoking not to mention smoking itself is a stimulant "nicotine." If it's working great than stick with it because ritalin is sometimes very unpleasant for those who experience the side effects so why take the chance.

You should talk to a doctor about getting on the nicotine patch and maybe he will have some other things you could take to help you. Remember that smoking does nothing but damage over time and hurts the ones around you. I am allergic to cigarette smoke so I might be a little biased though almost all of my friends smoke. It almost always ends the same when you get older you will have a lung cancer, emphysema, or high blood pressure. Yes, there are exceptions but why take the risk?
