I was recently DX with ADD and put on 20mg of Adderall XR. It was like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. I have never felt that way before in my whole life; I could actually focus and get things accomplished before getting distracted and starting a new task! Well, as luck would have it, my insurance changed and my previous doctor doesn't accept my new insurance. I have an appointment with a new doctor and I want to ask him about getting an RX for Adderall again. Is this something that is feasible? My previous doctor didn't really do any tests, he just asked me a bunch of questions, so I don't have a written DX or anything. If I bring in my old RX bottle, will that help to prove I had a previous RX? From what I understand, doctors are some what reluctant to prescribe Adderall, but it helped me so much!
