I am like you. I don't have depression, but I have killer anxiety. I had tried things for that in the past and didn't ever really notice a difference. I just started Adderall XR and am in shock at what it feels like to feel normal!

Something I would like to know is, do you think our "crash" or our coming off the Adderall is that we are "worse" per se, or that we see SUCH a difference while on the meds, we didn't actually know it was so bad to begin with? I never knew anything about ADD. I have had a crash course in the last couple months. I too wonder how it controls the anxiety. Something I have thought is that we are anxious because of certain ADD traits that we can't control, and we get anxious thinking they are so obvious to someone.

While on the meds, we aren't having those traits, and so the anxiety subsides? I am not sure. I would love to know though. My son also got anxiety relief with Adderall XR. We're both on 20 mg.

If it works so well for these things, why can't it be a normal dosing to have it last the waking hours? Neither me nor my kids has any sleep troubles with the med.
