Hi all.
I am writing my dissertation now but never developed good study skills or time management skills and have ADHD.

I've done medication, which is useful, but I would much rather see a doctor who can help me to learn the skills needed to manage these difficulties.

I live in New York and did go to the Hallowell Center, which was pretty cool: they gave hands-on techniques for managing oneself. I would have continued but they aren't covered by insurance.

I am now looking for a Behavioral / Cognitive Behavioral therapist who can help me implement various plans that wil help me manage my ADHD, and become better at stuyding and managing my time.

Does anyone have any good experiences?

Try Dr. Jeannette Wasserstein. She taught me a LOT and I really wish I was able to get that far to see her still.
