I am a 31 yr old female who was recently diagnosed with ADD. Although I have known this for a while now, I have not sought after any help. My daughter, who is 9, also is ADHD. (We drive my husband nuts, poor guy!)We both in the past week have been put on Strattera. She has been taking Adderall XR and Effexor for quit some time. She actually started today and I started 5 days ago. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how they and/or their child are doing on this.

I have noticed I have had some headaches, low appetite, and major sleep loss. Will this go away after awhile? I also am taking 20mg of prozac everyday. I read at another site that you shouldn't take this with prozac or paxil. Has anyone heard of this?

Thanks!

I am a 27 year old female and I have been on Adderall XR for about a year now. When I first started taking it I had the same symptoms as you are having; headaches, loss of appetite, and sleep loss. For me, the headaches and lack of sleep eventually went away. The loss of appetite stayed around for quite some time but within the last 2 months that has gone away.
