I have been on Strattera for over three months. Although my focus seems better, I still seem to be up and down with my motivation. Overall, I think it's effective for ADD (I take 60 mg Strattera w/ 100 mg Wellbutrin per day).
On the downside, I have some male oriented side effects that I think will make me get off these meds. During the first two weeks, I was running for excersise and had severe urinary tract pain. The doctors couldn't figure it out after a urinalysis. It felt as if my prostate was swollen. Second, and at your age more importantly, I've never had impodency problems prior to taking this medication, but last weekend I was with a girl and had a hard time keeping an erection (not to be graphic).
