To momofwillie: We used Metadate CD 20mg for my 6 year old for almost a year with pretty good results. He had the usual appetite/sleep issues that i think all kids experience with stimulants but for the most part did well. However, we changed him to Wellbutrin in December because of tics and because he went through a growth spurt and the Metadate seemed less effective. He is doing fairly well now at home and in school but having a hard time in his after school daycare. I am starting to think it is as much the daycare provider's fault as it is his ADHD. The input from everyone about Strattera has been invaluable as I was considering it for my kiddo. I am starting to think that it is still too new for me to try him on it, changing meds scares the beejeezums out of me!
