My 10 year old son is on Concerta and it has worked wonders for him. However, the cost that I'm paying on it is ridiculous each month. Are there huge differences between ADD/ADHD drugs like Ritilan, Adderall, Concerta, etc?? Have any of them turned generic yet so we can get them cheaper?? Is Concerta just one of the more expensive ones?

HELP!!
Ritalin is generic and is available in SR aka sustained release formula. Concerta is nothing more than ritalin in an extended release formula just like the generic Ritalin. Why not ask your doc about switching to a generic extended release ritalin tablet and give it a try.
