Hyzenthlay, nobody here claims neurological expertise, but from what I understand, neurological disorders have some physical manifestations such as motor tics or lack of motor functions, uncontrollable movements, etc. ADD doesn't seem to have any of that, so I don't buy into the neurological or biological connection part of ADD and I think the drugs given for it are very harmful to the health and downright dangerous.
Tourettes...seem to be a true neurological disorder which has at least one of the above physical effects. It is well known that stimulants can worsen it. I'm very sorry you have it. And you are right, different doesn't always equal disability.
