... I would probably taper it down. Since you've only been taking it for about a month, you should be able to do this fairly quickly. If you're only taking 18mg, stopping probably won't be a problem. ... (2 replies)

... My 9 year old has been on it for around 1 1/2 (gosh- I think its been that long- I know the doc said it had only been out a couple months, and some pharmacys may not have it yet). He has done extremely well on it- we noticed the change right away. Everyone noticed the change. His grades went up, his tantrums stopped (most of them anyways!). He did have to go back and... ... Ssri's especially can cause many different reactions, I would definitely caution you against stopping the prozac suddenly. You would most likely have withdrawal, if you have taken it for some time. ... (2 replies)
