[QUOTE=PryncessBee]I have the same question about medicine for your back...someone told me to try ultam and it was also recommended by one of my doctors, who know about my addiction, but not sure if it is okay to take??? I have been clean for 25 days and will be getting off suboxone in the next couple of days. Anyway, my pain is really getting bad and the advil, etc is not cutting it- so if anyone has advice please let me know,

Just wanted to let you know that Ultram is in fact addicting, and can have severe withdrawal as well. It was first prescribed to me as a "safe" alternative to the opiates, since I feared re-addiction to the narcotics. I have been in recovery a # of years and was at the time of it being prescribed. But as it turns out it is not that much better. You can do a search here or in the archives (click ARCHIVES below) to read about some others experiences. I'd just say ... Use with extreme caution, if at all.
