p.s. Actually it's not completely gone...the anxiety. I'm just SO tired! Also, today is day 3 of sobriety from alcohol. Maybe that is part of it. Does this ever get any easier?
Hey Minn, It seemed like I was tired a lot after coming off the pills. If you are tired, dont fight it-get some zzzzzzz's. Hang in there.
Thanks Tim and Bubba,
Truly a rollercoaster it is. Today is better. I was tired all day yesterday but managed to still sleep w/aid of some xanax and 1 otc pill. I am on day 4 of no alcohol. Today I will try to lessen the xanax amount. Thank the universe it gives me no high whatsoever so I take it sparingly and have no problem w/that.
Yes, I am on Lexapro for the depression and anxiety. I think w/all the other crap going on it was not working though. Does that make sense? Plus the alcohol I was using to "medicate" the WD anxiety I'm sure did not help.
The weird part is that I wasn't abusing the alcohol as much as in the past...it was Truly only to quell the anxiety. I did NOT enjoy it at all.
Again..thanks for being here. Each response is like a helping hand out of this muck.

Ms M,
The WD's of alcohol also make ya tired. I dont know how much you drank daily, but since this is only day 4, you could still be detoxing from the drink. But, to answer your question, YES, it does get better. Hang tight with the fight.
