Maybe even quit totally. I usually come home from work during the week and drink 4-5 beers and usually get pretty hammered on Friday or Saturday night. Well, I've decided I'm going to cut out the weekly drinking and cut down on the binges during the weekend. I havent been sleeping well lately and think maybe this could have some effect on it and I've just decided I drink too much, period. Well, here's what brings me here. I havent had a drink since Wednesday and I must say I'm feeling pretty low today. Just totally depressed. Dont feel like doing anything, dont really feel like eating, just want to lay on the couch. I do exercise regularly and went to the Y this morning and did a pretty good workout, but it didnt help any. Do you think this could be some sort of withdrawal from not drinking those beers for a few days? I dont really have the urge to drink, just feeling pretty down. Anybody else who has quit drinking, is this pretty normal and how long do you think it will take to get better? Any insight would be appreciated.
