Take it from somebody who is going through Suboxone WDs as we speak (I'm on day 9). It's harder than Vicodin withdrawls and after physically suffering longer than you would have from the physical vicodin withdrawls, you'll still have to go through the depression anyway you slice it.

Don't get me wrong, Sub can be great for people that want to get their life back (i.e. stop chasing the damn pills around all day, possibily breaking laws getting them from the street, killing their liver, etc...), but there will come a day when you have to get off the Sub too and it's just like getting off Vikes, only harder.

The depression is temporary. A good estimate is about 1 month from the day you quit (could be longer, but you weren't on them too long, so I would estimate about 1 month for you). Just keep reminding yourself that it's going to get better and what you're feeling is only as a result of your brain not yet reproducing natural opiates on its own. As soon as it does, the depression will subside and you will go back to how you were before ever getting on the pills.

It's going to get worse before it gets better, but you've come way too far to turn back now. If you get on Sub or Vikes again, these 5 difficult days you've gone through are a waste. Do you really want to start over again? That's what I keep telling myself. I was actually at the doc a few days ago and he asked me if I wanted to get back on Sub. I told him no way because I didn't want the progress I had made so far to go to waste.

He prescribed me "Clonidine" to help with the physical WDs, but that didn't do anything for me other than make me even more exhausted. Plus it lowers your blood pressure, which can already be low due to what you're going through, therefore it can cause you to faint, get light headed, etc... I've been taking a lot of Vitamin C and it seems to help a bit.

Good luck & keep posting for support, it'll help.
