... Good, we will stay clear of baclofen. Here is my dilema, his dilema. He needs pain medication, oh how we have tried everything else. I just don't know what to do, I hold the pills and dole them out but I am so scared of relapsing because he is in pain and wants to get high or in pain and it isn't available. ... i wouldn't suggest using this for WD off opiates, it's a far to powerful muscle relaxant and could easily become addictive. far better form of pain management is remedial massage and accupuncture and something like nurofen in recovery you really want to promote a healty lifestyle not more drugs....good luck (3 replies)

... Yes I have in fact. Buprenorphin is it’s better known name and I believe has only recently been approved for use in the U.S…meaning sometime in the last 18 months…an opiate agonist/antagonist and you only need to take it 2-3 times a week.
