... I tapered off Xanax... a benzo like Ativan, but stronger. I tapered long and slow which is the way to come off a benzo. It is dangerous, very dangerous, to not go slow coming off a benzo. Too fast and hard can easily lead to seizures. I took months.. at least six.. coming off three .5 mg tabs per day. ... (19 replies)
