... emember that if he hasnt gone through this himself, he just doesnt understand what you'r going through! I honestly suggest that you get yourself to a couple of NA or AA meetings. ... Just because you have been sober for 17 years does not qualify you as an authority on sobriety or rude behavior in a meeting for that matter. There are some good meetings and some not so good meetings. 12 step groups have a tendency to browbeat newcomers which I could never figure out why they do this. ... (12 replies)

... patient rehab for about 80 days now. I am over 60 days clean from my drug of choice. I went on suboxone therapy at the start of rehab to help with withdrawals, and it worked well for me. They gave us benadryl at bedtime, katapress as needed a few times a day, and all of the OTC painkillers we needed to help with the muscle aches and pains. ... Michelle i have not been on methadone but, my friend has and she said it was horrible to get off. We both did Suboxone and it worked great we both have been sober for a while now. I highly recommend it. ... (14 replies)

... Sorry that I reacted like that. I guess Iam just going insane trying to deal with all of this. Methadone is definitely harder to get off then heroin, and that sucks. I guess I just wanted to get my point across that it is helpful for those people who have tried everything else. ... (20 replies)
