You're right about the Xanax, it can become a crutch, in Opiate WD's, benzos help with the jittery feelings and anxiety, but if not careful, taking too many is possible. ... Is it ativan? I just started tapering from 4 5mg norco (vicodin) and 1 mg ativan p/day. Started yesterday and want to be free from these pills after approx 5 years. Worked thru the pain with physical therapy and the gym. Now to get off these pills my dr so generously gives me. Congrats on your tapering down to almost beating it. Keep it up, you give people hope. ... yes yes it does come back. you will be able to keep up with your kids and no longer be a slave to pill to make life enjoyable. NA is very helpfull, you have to try a few meeting to find a good fit, a womans meeting will have lots of other moms trying to kick drugs, it changes everying when you see how many other people are doing the same thing yu are and its working with...
