... Been in the same boat. It's tough. I'm on Sub cause I feel normal on it and have a 95% relapse rate so I figured what the heck ya know. I would never go back on Methadone though. Sub is a less euphoria producing drug but it's just as addicting. I may try a slow taper someday (4 replies)

... Chef, If you know how well the detox works getting off Meth, then why are you still on it. If you need it for chronic pain why did you have to detox off of it in the first place. You certainly must have seen there was a problem with you taking it. Maybe I read your post wrong? B (30 replies)

... methadone and detoxed from 30 to zero in a day has the horror stories...thats not how its done by some good proffesional docs...i know of a doc who got a guy off heroin on just usin clonidine but under the docs care he adjusted the guys blood pressur till the guy was clean.....anyone who says meth is bs is full of bs... ... I heard stories of people having alot of trouble getting off it, however those people took the fast taper. Some folks on here said as long as you taper off slowly, it's not bad at all.
