Started with vicodan and percocet, then went all the way up to 80 mg of oxycontin 5 times per day PLUS 10mg percocet every 5 hours for breakthru pain. Thankfully, i weaned off the oxy a little bit at a time and then the dr. gave me the Duragesic 50mcg patch. ... (7 replies)

I have an artificial disk in my neck, had that surgery in 04' took percocet for awhile and stopped, my neck and arm nerve pain finally subsided about 1-1/2 years after surgery and I was doing well. ... is extremely difficult. I went cold turkey off of opiates in 85. In 1990 I moved back to my hometown and was back to the races again! I too was able to eat 10 percocet at one time. ... I do intense exercise and the endorphin rush is the greatest high anyone can ever imagine. Its just makes you feel so powerful. But then again, I lift weights in addition to your cardio.
