Fatigue, sweaty palms, morning back ache, night sweats and variations in energy levels all sound like adrenal insufficiency. I don't think the saliva test is very useful. I would first have a 24-hour urine collection tested for cortisol to see if you are infact producing a resonable amount. Also a blood test for cortisol. Neither of these tests is diagnosic unless the levels come back high. Low normal levels need more investigation with a more provocative test.

I would also like to see the actual thyroid levels recorded from the lab. There is a large variation in allowed thyroid levels. You could easily be within the normal range for TSH but still have thyroid problems.
