I had been on thyroid med for over a year so that was in range. For me the DHEA does not work like it does for some others. I have no ovaries so it doesn't increase testosterone. I feel NO benefits from it, but continue to take 12.5mg every other day or so just because I don't want my level at rock bottom. A dose that works for some is 12.5mg daily. Some take 25 to 50mg. The level must be kept withing the range.

Just having addisons is a reason to be tired.....although there are many who do really amazing things like climbing mountains, extreme excercise & etc. If we are on too much replacement it can make us tired, if not enough we can be tired. There is just so much involved, who knows.

What replacements are you on? What kind of thyroid med are you taking & how much? Are you taking it at least 1 hour before other meds on an empty stomach?
