Hi,
I have many of the symptoms of adrenal insufficiency and had my blood taken to test cortisol levels along with a few other hormones and my electrolyte levels. However at the time the blood was drawn I was actually feeling quite well -- had a decent energy level, could concentrate, .etc. So now I'm wondering if I should have waited until some morning when I wasn't feeling well to have my blood drawn and if I could now come back with a false negative because I didn't? Or do people with adrenal problems have swings like that? I have noticed that when I feel well energy wise, I typically also have a constant, low-level headache and heart palpitations. Does that correlation sound familiar to anyone? I suspect it happens after a high-salt meal, but I am not sure.

Much thanks. Great resource here.
