With the dose you are taking it has shut down your adrenals if that was not a problem in the first place. 30mg daily could be too much for you even if you do have addisons. Could be the reason you feel lousy. If your doc tells you to taper be sure to only taper by 2.5mg every 3 to 5 days depending on how you feel. The ACTH test cannot be... (6 replies)
... There is no "natural" steriod. Unless you mean Cortef or it's generic, hydrocortisone. I use hydrocortisone which is like what a normal body would produce. I don't do well on Cortef, but many do. ... (7 replies)
