... Carrielynn or others, What was your initial problems that they done this kind of testing for, like your symptoms?? I did have extremely high levels of DHEA about 3-4 years ago, she indicated that I may have like I guess adrenal exhaustion and I may need meds like you all take? I am prone to get Addison's or Cushings from this. So I was just wondering what your symptoms... (20 replies)

... I don't mean to hijack this old thread, but I was doing a search for high cortisol, and Hashigent - what does your doc have you doing for the high AM Cortisol? Did they point you to Cushings Disease? How often are they monitoring this for you?? My morning cortisol (with the same lab range as yours here..) was 26 in March, but my doc didn't seem overly concerned about it. ... (6 replies)

... I am on a teeney-tiny amount of Armour (15 mg, a tiny, tiny pill), so I don't think it's doing much to my adrenals. Besides, I was having this kind of fatigue before I started taking the thyroid medication. My thyroid doctor is in another city -- he's a national expert, so I can't see him very easily. (Takes me 4 hours to drive to see him.) I will bring this up with him... (20 replies)

... In my experience with DHEA the 7keto did not raise my levels. May have been the brand, but don't recall which it was. DHEA did not convert to testosterone for me as I have had a complete hysterectomy. GNC brand DHEA did not raise my level at all. After experimenting I took only 17. ... (7 replies)
